Remove background

Add color
First, we start with the image and make some adjustments including the color correct, cropping, and removing the background.

Rendered Image
We like what we have and now we start the second phase of the illustration, the triangles. A very long and tedious process. Later, we will correct some of the tones and overall color including lightening up the image and creating a more uniform chromatic style.
In addition, we will add some lighting effects and other elements to elevate the image's already complex design.

The triangles
As you can see this takes time and patience is key. Starting with the dress and moving towards her face we gain some momentum and what I consider a complex layer system so we dont make any mistakes.
organization is key
On the right I wanted to take a screenshot of the layer system and how it was organized for you to see how I develop this complex system.
